Folk.us training events are for people who are interested in making research into health and social care; relevant, radical and really, really useful by involving service users, patients and carers.
Folk.us Forums are an opportunity to hear a speaker and to meet other people interested in involvement in research in a friendly atmosphere.

How to involve people in research?
We divide the days into three parts:
- Morning session 10am to 12.30pm and is primarily, but not exclusively, aimed at Researchers and Research Staff.
- Lunch is between 12.30pm - 1.30pm and We hope lunch time is an opportunity for people who to mix and meet and make good contacts.
- The Afternoon session is from 1.30pm to 4pm The afternoon is aimed primarily, but not exclusively, At Patients, Carers and Service Users

Folk.us Forums
The Forums are a chance for people who are interested in involvement in Research to get together and discuss different issues.
Forum vary sometimes we have a speaker and sometimes they are just a discussion opportunity.
